Antwan Barnes was picked with the 134th-overall selection in the 4th round of the 2007 NFL Draft. “Antwan Barnes is an outside linebacker/pass-rusher that we picked up from FIU. Barnes was the last player I watched on tape,” said general manager Ozzie Newsome. “Eric [DeCosta, director of college scouting] came to me and said, ‘You’ve got to watch this guy. He can do some things that are attractive to our organization.’ So, [I watched him], and he is an explosive player.” Barnes was the 1st defensive player taken by the Ravens in 2006 and the 1st player from Florida International to be drafted by an NFL team…Has Gary Stills-like special teams abilities.
